RSDB and Sanoma sign collaborative agreement
RSDB
is pleased to announce that they have signed a new, multi-year agreement
with Sanoma Uitgevers.
The existing agreement between RSDB and Sanoma expired last year. This
agreement dated from 1993, when VNU hived off its graphics division.
VNU Magazines Group was taken over by Sanoma WSOY in 2001.
Over the years, Sanoma Uitgevers has used RSDB to print more than 50
titles and has also started using more and more of these additional
services.
During negotiations leading to renewal of the agreement, Sanoma Uitgevers
expressed a preference that all services used would be incorporated
in one single ‘service level agreement’. The services offered
by both RSDB Business Lines – Print Productions and Marketing
Communications – thus come under the new agreement.
As this new agreement goes into force, multi-year contracts have been
signed for printing and finishing 21 titles. Contracts have been renewed
for 12 titles, Including Cosmopolitan, Nieuwe Revu en Sportweek, which
expired in 2005. Nine new titles have also been added, including Flair,
Kijk and Ouders van nu. RSDB sees this as a confirmation of the trust
that Sanoma Uitgevers puts in the relationship.
